GLYCERIN TESTING LABORATORY AND NEW USES EXPLORATION

Crude glycerin or glycerol is a byproduct or co-product of biodiesel production by transesterification, and in its purified form has many potential and existing uses.  As recovered, it is often very impure and accompanied by several other substances.   These are mainly residuals of incomplete conversion of triglyceride oils, impurities in feedstocks, excess alcohol, reaction products, catalysts, and, yes, unrecovered biodiesel B100 methyl esters.  What does MONG contain?  We can provide a breakdown of the components in MONG, which you can use to determine whether these components have value.

The purity of the glycerin is of utmost importance to prospective purchasers and users of this byproduct, and this quality can be highly variable.    Have our lab test the glycerin to ascertain its purity.     We have the tools and know how, and have provided this service to numerous companies.   Call or email to discuss your needs.

Let us assist your company optimize your process for obtaining the greatest economic utility for glycerin.   Why lose all that valuable B100 or methanol?   Can the purity be improved?   At what cost?  What are some viable, often not considered,  outlets for the glycerin?  Do you have a possible new application, and need laboratory support to develop a procedure or work out problems with the formulation ?

Are you getting the price you want for residual glycerin because of quality deficiencies? If not, then you should call or contact us immediately.
