Vegetable, algal or microbial oils, and animal fats, are used as: feedstocks for a variety of commercial manufacturing processes; major components of greener lubricants, and;  ingredients in a range of food and cosmetic products.  The properties vary, and depend on the bulk composition of the feedstock oil or fat, and impurities derived from the process of isolating the oil and fat, and the origin, the particular animal type, plant, microbe, or waste source. Also, environmental factors or previous uses can wreak havoc on purity and oil quality.   R.W. Heiden Associates tests a variety of foods, seeds, materials, chemicals, and substances that contain vegetable oils and animal fats, and or derivatives specialty chemicals that are made from them.    We can assist you in determining quality, product stability, and authenticity- as it turns out valuable oils, such as olive oil, are fraudulently mimicked with cheaper, less desireable oils!
